Part-Time Hours. Meaningful Care. Life-Changing Impact.
What if your part-time evening nursing shifts could make a full-time difference in someone's life?
At Anchor Co-Living, we believe recovery takes more than medical care. It takes compassion, consistency, and a safe place to heal.
Our Recuperative Care program helps individuals recovering from hospitalization, illness, or injury get the support they need while working toward greater stability.
And we're looking for a Part-time LVN who wants to be part of that journey.
This isn't your typical fast-paced hospital environment. You'll provide hands-on nursing support in a community-based residential setting where you can build meaningful connections, support recovery, and see the difference your care makes.
If you're an LVN who loves caring for people, values teamwork, and wants purposeful weekend work, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
Bring Your Clinical Skills to Life
- Administer medications and provide wound care within your LVN scope of practice.
- Monitor vital signs, recovery progress, and changes in residents' conditions.
- Recognize concerns early and communicate with the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Support residents with daily living needs while promoting dignity and independence.
Be the Connection That Makes Care Better
- Collaborate with care coordinators, case managers, and healthcare providers.
- Help residents feel heard, respected, and supported throughout their recovery.
- Communicate important updates to ensure continuity of care.
- Contribute to a safe, welcoming, and supportive residential environment.
Make Every Detail Count
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
- Follow established nursing protocols and program standards.
- Ensure documentation supports Medi-Cal, CalAIM, and managed care plan requirements.
Because great nursing isn't just about what you do -- it's about how you make people feel while doing it.
You Might Be a Great Fit If...
You're the kind of nurse who:
- Treats every resident with compassion and respect.
- Notices the little things before they become bigger problems.
- Stays calm, confident, and resourceful when challenges arise.
- Takes pride in doing things right, including documentation.
- Can work independently while staying connected to the care team.
- Understands that sometimes the most important part of healing is simply knowing someone cares.
What You'll Bring
Required
- Active California LVN license in good standing
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong clinical observation and nursing skills
- Excellent communication, reliability, and follow-through
- Ability to assist residents with mobility and transfers
- Ability to work on-site during weekends
- Reliable transportation or a dependable commute to Los Angeles 90007
Even Better If You Have
- 2+ years of direct patient care experience
- Experience in home health, skilled nursing, recuperative care, or similar settings
- Experience supporting individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or chronic illness
- Familiarity with CalAIM, Medi-Cal, or community-based healthcare programs
What Success Looks Like
At Anchor, success isn't just about completing a shift.
It's about making sure:
- Residents receive safe, compassionate, and consistent nursing care.
- Medications, wound care, and wellness monitoring are completed accurately and on time.
- Changes in condition are recognized and communicated promptly.
- Documentation is accurate, complete, and timely.
- Every resident feels supported, respected, and cared for.
You leave knowing your presence made someone's recovery a little easier.
