Property Manager

Anchor Co-Living
$10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Help Us Turn Houses Into Homes That Work

At Anchor Co-Living, property management is about more than leases, maintenance requests, and occupancy.

It's about creating homes that are organized, responsive, stable, and well cared for - because when a home runs well, the tenants have one less thing standing between them and greater stability.

We're looking for an experienced Property Manager who knows how to keep all the moving pieces moving.

You'll oversee the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of shared co-living homes and become a trusted point of contact for tenants, case managers, vendors, and our internal team.

This is a remote, hands-on operational role for someone who loves solving problems, communicates exceptionally well, and gets satisfaction from turning a complicated situation into a clear next step.

If you're the person who sees an unanswered maintenance request, an upcoming move-in, and a missing document -- and immediately starts organizing the solution -- we want to meet you.

What You'll Own

The Resident Experience

From move-in to move-out, you'll help make the rental experience feel organized, professional, and human.

You'll:

  • Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, lease renewals, and terminations
  • Respond to tenant questions promptly and professionally
  • Follow up proactively instead of waiting for problems to escalate
  • Communicate with tenants and case managers to keep everyone aligned
  • Help create a positive and consistent experience across our homes

Keeping Our Homes Running

Our properties are shared co-living environments, which means great operations matter.

You'll:

  • Manage the daily operations of multiple co-living homes
  • Track room-by-room occupancy and monitor shared common areas
  • Coordinate maintenance vendors and contractors
  • Make sure repair requests don't disappear into a black hole
  • Follow maintenance issues through from reported scheduled completed
  • Handle competing priorities and know what needs attention first

Operational Precision

Great property management happens in the details -- and you'll help us stay ahead of them.

You'll:

  • Monitor rent collections and follow up on delinquencies
  • Track lease compliance and required tenant documentation
  • Maintain accurate lease agreements, tenant records, and property files
  • Support compliance with company policies and applicable property-management requirements
  • Prepare clear occupancy and operational reports for management

You Might Be a Great Fit If...

You're someone who doesn't need to be reminded three times.

You follow through.

You communicate clearly.

You can manage multiple properties, residents, vendors, deadlines, and unexpected problems without losing track of the details.

And when something goes wrong, your first instinct is:

"Okay -- how do we solve it?"

We're looking for someone with:

  • 2+ years of property management experience
  • Strong experience with residential leasing, tenant relations, and property operations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • The ability to manage multiple properties and competing priorities
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Experience using property management software
  • The ability to work independently and stay accountable in a remote environment
  • Experience working with U.S.-based property management companies
  • Professional fluency in English and Spanish

Even Better If You Have...

  • A background in residential leasing, real estate, or customer service
  • Experience working remotely with distributed teams
  • Familiarity with CalAIM

Why Anchor Co-Living?

Because this isn't a role where you'll simply process paperwork and close tickets.

Your work has a visible impact.

Our homes serve people who are rebuilding stability. How quickly a maintenance problem gets solved, how clearly a move-in is coordinated, and how consistently a property is managed can directly affect someone's ability to maintain that stability.

You'll also have something that's increasingly hard to find:

Real ownership.

You'll be trusted to manage operational outcomes across a growing co-living portfolio, solve problems, improve processes, and help us build a better resident experience.

What We Offer

  • Fully remote work
  • Part-time opportunity with the potential to grow into full-time
  • A collaborative, professional team
  • Room to grow as Anchor Co-Living grows
  • Real autonomy and ownership over your work
  • Work that has a meaningful impact on people's everyday lives

We care less about someone who can simply "manage properties" and more about finding someone who can help us manage them exceptionally well.

If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
